Kahina Giving Beauty Brand Story. Katherine’s search ended on a 2007 trip to Morocco, where she was introduced to Argan oil, used by the local Berber women for centuries to protect, nourish and enhance the quality of their skin. Amazed by the results on her own face, Katherine discovered the story behind Argan oil was just as fascinating as the ingredient itself. Inspired, she set out to create a skincare line that delivers the restorative benefits of Argan oil, and donates a percentage of profits to support programs that improve the lives of the Berber women.
